Harwood Island has an attractive, inviting library. Children are able to borrow books on a weekly basis from our large selection of quality literature. Children must have a library bag to borrow books. School library bags are available from the office.
Children also have the opportunity to order books through Book Club each term. The school participates in the Premier's Reading Challenge annually. This is then extended to the Harwood Island Reading Challenge where children are rewarded for reading as many books as possible.
Book Fair
Every year we hold a Book Fair where children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character and books are available for sale or can be purchased and donated to the school library.
